Cyrex Array 7X Expanded assists in the early detection of neuro-autoimmunity and can help evaluate severity of the autoimmune response in various neurological conditions such as ataxia, neuropathy, and demyelinating conditions. It can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of treatment protocols used in the management of neuro-autoimmunity. This panel also looks at IgM antibodies.

Test Preparation for Optimal Results

This is a Serum (blood) test.
Cyrex Laboratories Blood Draw Instructions will be mailed with a Test Requisition and specimen collection kit upon receipt of payment by MyLabsforLife.
Fasting not required, but please abstain from consuming overly fatty foods prior to blood draw to avoid sample rejection.

By including IgM, Array 7X helps with early detection of neuro-autoimmune reactivity, the identification of multi-focal motor neuropathy, lower motor neuron syndromes, early development of relapses in multiple sclerosis and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, and as a tool to monitor the effectiveness of related treatment protocols.
